How to fix it

  1. Log into Now Learning and navigate to My Account > Profile to verify your email address.
  2. Log into your Pearson VUE account and check the email address in your profile settings.
  3. If emails don't match exactly, update one account to match the other. It's usually easier to update Pearson VUE since Now Learning email changes can affect learning progress tracking.
  4. In Now Learning, go to My Account > Exam Vouchers and verify your voucher shows Available status and has not expired.
  5. Check the exam code on your voucher (e.g., CIS-CSM, CIS-ITSM) matches exactly with the exam you're selecting in Pearson VUE.
  6. Copy the exact voucher code from Now Learning - it's typically a 16-character alphanumeric string.
  7. In Pearson VUE, completely log out and log back in to refresh your session before attempting voucher entry.
  8. When scheduling your exam, paste the voucher code exactly as shown in Now Learning during the payment step.
⚠️

If your voucher was purchased through a corporate account or partner program, contact your company's ServiceNow admin to verify the voucher wasn't issued under a different pricing structure.

  1. If voucher is expired, you'll need to purchase a new one through Now Learning or contact ServiceNow Education Services if it expired recently.
  2. If still failing, clear your browser cache and cookies for both Now Learning and Pearson VUE sites, then try again.
💡

After successfully applying the voucher, you should see the exam fee reduced to $0 in Pearson VUE. Take a screenshot of this confirmation for your records.
