Your instance has issues. You just don't know it yet.
Sourdough shows you everything ServiceNow hides. Slow queries, failed API calls, MID server health, and instance performance, all in one dashboard with zero setup.
The current store build is free to install. Payments, when available, happen only inside the extension.
Use TRY25 when upgrading inside the extension for 25% off every Pro renewal.
Corrected Pro release status
Version 1.1.0 fixes Pro access gating and install confirmation, but it is not live yet. It still requires owner submission in the Chrome Web Store and Google review. Install the current Free build now; evaluate the $5/month Pro upgrade after 1.1.0 is published.

Interactive job planner
Turn a ServiceNow question into a three-step check
Pick the job you need to finish. The checklist maps directly to a Sourdough view and states where you still need to verify the result in ServiceNow.
Outcome: A short list of endpoints to investigate
The steps map only to Sourdough features shown on this page. They are a triage aid, not an automated diagnosis or repair. Review permissions and data handling.
Answer "is the instance up?" before your manager finishes asking.
Health score, system status, session count, and build info appear the moment you click the extension. No tabs, no logins, no waiting. The questions you used to dread in standup take five seconds now.

See which service areas are under pressure, which categories are growing, and where your team is spending its time. The kind of insight that used to require a custom report and a half-day of someone's time.
Add to ChromeCatch failing integrations before someone files a ticket about them.
Most error-prone outbound APIs surface in real time, grouped by endpoint. 400s and 500s show up here long before they hit your queue as P2s. Diagnose failures in seconds without digging through logs.

Slow-running queries and scheduled jobs surface in the extension as they happen. Catch the operations quietly degrading instance performance before users do, and before the postmortem.

Built for environments
that require approval
Sourdough is 100% read-only and runs entirely inside your browser. Your ServiceNow data never touches a Sourdough server. Full technical documentation - permissions, auth flow, every API endpoint - is available for your SecOps team.
What Sourdough does
Read-only API calls only
Every ServiceNow request uses GET. No POST, PUT, PATCH, or DELETE - it is architecturally impossible for Sourdough to modify your instance.
Uses your existing browser session
Authenticates with ServiceNow's own g_ck CSRF token - the same token the ServiceNow UI uses. No separate login, no stored credentials.
Renders data locally
API responses are displayed in the extension panel and discarded. Data flows from your browser to your instance - nowhere else.
Respects your ACLs
If a user doesn't have read access to a table, Sourdough gets a 403 and shows "no access." Your permission model is fully enforced.
Caches locally with expiry
Recent API results are cached in localStorage to reduce call volume. Cache expires in 1–3 hours per data type and clears on instance switch.
What it doesn't do
- Send instance data to any external server
- Store credentials, passwords, or session tokens to disk
- Intercept or modify network requests
- Execute any write operations against ServiceNow
- Collect analytics or usage telemetry
- Access any domain other than service-now.com for data
- Run in the background when ServiceNow isn't open
