The Snowball is an independent ServiceNow reference for platform administrators and developers. It publishes practical tutorials, API and table references, error explanations, troubleshooting guides, code recipes, architecture patterns, module guides, integration guides, certification material and career material. Reading the site is free and does not require an account.

## Sourdough Chrome extension

Sourdough is The Snowball's Chrome extension for people working inside ServiceNow. It keeps common instance signals and practitioner tools in a browser panel so a user can stay close to the record or task being investigated.

Free features have no time limit and include search, tasks, instance switching and the More tab. Free and Pro both support unlimited ServiceNow instances. Some free result views are capped at five rows.

Sourdough Pro costs $5/month after a 14-day trial. No credit card is required for the trial. Pro adds Instance Info, Logs, the Developer tab, the Monitor tab and premium charts. Pro features require the user's ServiceNow account to hold the admin role. The website does not take payment. Install the extension first, then upgrade inside it through ExtensionPay.
